About Me

I'm just a girl like any other... daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend. Life isn't easy and is almost always messy, but I still try to follow the golden rule and remember to teach it to my kids. I am addicted to my coffee, my iphone, sweet tea, my big tote bag size purses, dansko clogs, and most importantly my family. I hate sports, unless one of my kids is playing, and then I'm the loudest/most incoherent cheerleader on the sidelines. I love music and singing in the car, playing Scrabble with my kids, and catching up with friends. I'm a type A perfectionist and yet my house is never quite as tidy as I'd like for it to be, but I'm getting used to that too because I'm just a mere mortal mom and Grandma Moo Cows taught me to be okay with that.
